Deborah Ann Raesz, 68, of Rockport, Texas, passed away on July 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, on December 14, 1957, Deborah lived a life filled with warmth, devotion, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Debbie was born a twin to her brother, Donnie, arriving first — a fact she loved to mention often. When she was two years old, the family moved to Harlingen, where they lived until the summer after she completed first grade. They then moved to Austin, staying there until around 1972, when the family settled in Marble Falls. Debbie was a proud graduate of the Marble Falls High School Class of ’76 and cherished every opportunity to gather with her classmates, especially the “Chicks of ’76.” After high school, she returned to Austin, working briefly for the Texas Department of Public Safety before joining the Villa Capri Hotel. It was there she met her longtime friend, JoAnn — a friendship that brought countless adventures and lasted a lifetime.
Debbie met David, and they dated for several years before getting married. They both worked for Keller Williams selling real estate and eventually settled in Dripping Springs, where they lived when they welcomed Adrian (Ace) in 1992 and Aaron in 1994 into the family. As a family, they shared many great adventures — snow skiing, spending time on the lakes throughout the Hill Country, and enjoying their condo in Port Aransas.
Debbie loved anything and everything related to the beach. She spent many years making memories with her sons, other family, and friends at the Aransas Princess, where she and David had a condo for many years. She loved sitting on the balcony, listening to the ocean — the sounds of beach life, waves rolling onto the shore, seagulls calling overhead, laughter drifting up from below, or the precious silence of simply being. Debbie grew up in a fishing family, and whether she was casting a line into the lake or the ocean, she enjoyed every minute of it.
Deborah's heart belonged to the coast — days spent at the beach, fishing along the shore, and sharing laughter with her cherished “Chicks of ’76.” She loved her family, and even though her time with her grandson, Jett, was far too short, she loved him with all her heart.
She is survived by her sons, Adrian "Ace" and wife Zoe and Aaron; her beloved grandson, Jett Raesz; and her ex husband, David Raesz. She is also survived by her brother, Donnie Price (wife, Shannon); her sister, Judy Tait; her sister in law, Vickie Pannell; her aunt, Kathy Caraway; and her nieces and nephews: Wendy Jordan(husband, Sam), Misty Price, Shannon Tait (husband, Heath), Tracie Estepp, Kimberly Collins (husband, Josh), Fallon Burger (husband, Brett), and Levi Price(wife, Kim). She is also survived by numerous cousins, family, and many friends who loved her dearly.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Vera Price; her brother, Randy Price; and her brother in law, Don Tait.
A service honoring Deborah’s life will be held on July 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilcox Clements Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas. The family welcomes all who knew and loved her to join in celebrating her life and sharing memories.
The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice of Gulf Coast and the Harbor Hospice Inpatient Unit for their exceptional care, compassion, and support during Deborah’s final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Texas Sealife Center in Corpus Christi, reflecting Deborah’s lifelong love for community, family, and the coastal place she called home.
