

Edgar (Wynn) Winfield Stuart, Jr., passed away on January 31, 2022. He was born on October 3, 1942 in Albuquerque, NM to Edgar Winfield Stuart and Leona Margaret Thornhill. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents and by one stepdaughter, Bobbi Sue Capps. Wynn is survived by his wife, Rita, of Granite Shoals; by his daughter Stacy Kershner and husband Bob of Enumclaw, WA and their children Matthew and Evelyn; and by daughter Tami Hill and husband Stacy of Cottage Grove, OR and their sons Brandon and Taylor. Brandon and his wife Larissa presented Wynn with his only great-grandchild, Lilia Ava, on Father's Day 2021. Wynn is also survived by his stepdaughters Loretta Buster and family and Rebecca Stuart, all of Austin, TX; by his brother Don Stuart and wife Carol of Albuquerque, NM; and by nieces Sabrina Wolfe and Lisa Stuart of Santa Fe, NM.
Wynn served for four years as a mechanic in the US Navy. He learned drafting in trade school and spent the majority of his career at Sunstrand and Quintan Instruments in Seattle, WA. In 1986 he moved to Sunrise Beach, TX to care for his parents and worked with the Sunrise Beach volunteer fire department, EMS, and police. In 1994 he moved to Granite Shoals where he managed convenience stores for Bill Smith and for seven years worked for Mustang Equipment. He retired in 2009. In retirement he participated in numerous church activities and was an officer of the Christian Motorcyclists Association Chapter, Chariots of the Hills.
