Eva Nell Atkison Garcia was many things to many people. She was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Also known as Nell, Nell was a long time native of Texas. Her last days were filled with thoughts of those she loved, and maybe even opening a taco stand.
Nell was born on July 16, 1943 to Charles Leslie Atkison and Ruby Odell Green. She went peacefully on August 11, 2022. She had been ill briefly and was surrounded by her loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Garcia, her son John Garcia, and 5 sisters: Bobbie, B.J., Debbie, Theresa and Kay, and 2 brothers: Tobey and Allen. She is survived by her son and daughters: Eddie Garcia and wife Veva (Granite Shoals), Vivian (Granite Shoals), and Cathy (Chesapeake, Virginia), 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren who meant the world to her, as well as 3 sisters: Donna Rouse, Pam Gray and Phyllis Atkison and 1 brother, Ricky Atkison.
