Fernando fue muchas cosas para quienes lo amaron: terco, aventurero, increíblemente divertido y, sobre todo, una persona con uno de los corazones más grandes que se puedan conocer. Amaba con intensidad y tenía una manera muy particular de demostrar cuánto le importaban los demás. Incluso cuando la vida se ponía difícil, nunca dejó de encontrar maneras de hacer reír a quienes lo rodeaban y hacerlos sentir amados.

A Fernando le encantaban los videojuegos, estar al aire libre, las aventuras y crear recuerdos. Tenía un don para llevar alegría y risas a cualquier lugar. Una de sus formas favoritas de saludar a su familia era entrar por la puerta y fingir que estaban a punto de pelear. Era su manera de decir “hola”, “te extrañé” y “te quiero”, todo al mismo tiempo.

Fernando estaba profundamente enamorado de su novia, Vanessa. Su historia de amor comenzó cuando ambos tenían apenas 13 años, y tuvieron la dicha de compartir juntos sus últimos meses.

Fernando deja atrás a sus padres, Toribio Jaramillo y Carolina Macedo; sus hermanos, Víctor, Jessica y Florisbel Jaramillo; su novia, Vanessa; su amado sobrino, Alandair; sus sobrinas, Catalina, Stella, y Ophelia; y a muchos familiares, amigos y seres queridos cuyas vidas tocó.

Fernando no fue perfecto, y nunca tuvo que serlo. Luchó, cometió errores, amó intensamente y supo hacer reír a los demás. Podía ser terco más allá de toda comprensión, pero también tenía un corazón lo suficientemente grande como para seguir amando a pesar de todo.

Será recordado no por los momentos más difíciles de su vida, sino por el amor que dio, las risas que compartió, las aventuras que vivió y las innumerables maneras en que hizo saber a las personas que amaba cuánto significaban para él.

Fernando, te extrañaremos más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar. Te amamos. Siempre.

Fernando Jaramillo Macedo, 27, of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2026. He was born in Dallas, Texas, to Toribio Jaramillo and Carolina Macedo.

Fernando was many things to those who loved him: stubborn, adventurous, endlessly funny, and, above all, someone with one of the biggest hearts you could know. He loved fiercely and had a way of showing people he cared in ways uniquely his own. Even when life was difficult, he never stopped finding ways to make the people around him laugh and feel loved.

Fernando loved gaming, the outdoors, adventure, and making memories. He had a gift for bringing laughter into any room. One of his favorite ways to greet family was to walk through the door and pretend they were about to fight. It was his way of saying hello, “I missed you,” and “I love you” all at once.

Fernando was deeply in love with his girlfriend, Vanessa. Their love began when they were just 13 years old, and they were able to share their final months together.

Fernando is survived by his parents, Toribio Jaramillo and Carolina Macedo; his siblings, Victor, Jessica, and Florisbel Jaramillo; his girlfriend, Vanessa; his beloved nephew, Alandair; his nieces, Catalina, Stella, and Ophelia; and the many family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched.

Fernando was not perfect, and he never needed to be. He struggled, made mistakes, loved fiercely, and made people laugh. He could be stubborn beyond belief, but he also had a heart big enough to keep loving through it all.

He will be remembered not for the hardest moments of his life, but for the love he gave, the laughter he brought, the adventures he shared, and the countless ways he reminded the people he loved that they mattered.

Fernando, we will miss you more than words can say. We love you. Always.
