Georgia Louise McDaniel

Georgia was married to R. T. (Pete) McDaniel for 63 years before his passing in 2011. They had 3 daughters, Cynthia (who died in 2013), Kathie Bowermon and Stevie Pipkin and her beloved son-in-law Randy Pipkin.

In addition to her daughters, Georgia is survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Other surviving family members include her sister-in-law, Pat Addison and numerous nephews and nieces.

Georgia and Pete lived in Monahans, TX for 48 years where they were involved in the oil industry. They regularly attended and actively participated at the Methodist Church. Georgia enjoyed playing bridge and traveling.

Georgia and Pete moved to Horseshoe Bay, TX in 2004. They attended The Church at Horseshoe Bay. Traveling and growing new friendships were a priority for them.

She will always be remembered as a very loving and compassionate person.

Private services will be conducted later. Her ashes will be combined with her husband’s ashes and buried in Mertzon, TX where they met and married. Georgia believed in helping others. If you are so inclined to honor her life, donations can be made to:
