

Gladys Faye McLean of Marble Falls, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the age of 84. She was born on February 2, 1942, to Walter and Meta Birck in Johnson City, Texas. Gladys married Martin McLean in 1960 and together they shared 66 wonderful years. Gladys and Martin were small business owners in Marble Falls owning McLean’s Highland Cleaners and McLean’s Food & Ice.
In her lifetime, Gladys was devoted to her family and her community. She cherished her grandchildren and spent countless hours happily going wherever they wanted her to be: sporting events, band concerts, school events, or cooking for them in her kitchen. She taught Sunday school and was involved in charitable works through her sorority, the Delta Zeta chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, as well as the Marble Falls Helping Center. She loved to dance and classic country music was the soundtrack of her life.
Gladys is survived by her husband Martin; her children Kevin McLean, Brenda (Virgil) Belk, and Scott (Leigh) McLean; her grandchildren Jason (Liz) Belk, Logan (Alexis) Belk, and Korbin (Taylor) McLean; her great-grandchildren Cooper, Petyon, Berkeley, Memphis, Delilah, and Sorren; and her brother Vernon (Gretchen) Birck.
Visitation will be Monday, July 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls.
Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Glady’s honor to the Helping Center of Marble Falls.
