For 21 years Hazel enjoyed her role as mother and housewife while Larry worked for the Woolworth Company. In 2009, they built their lake home and moved to Beaver Island on Lake LBJ.
Hazel, with Larry always by her side, courageously fought the disease ALS for three years. She passed away on November 15, 2015.
In addition to Larry, Hazel is survived by her three daughters, 4 granddaughters, 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Gary Martindale, Sam Martindale, Paul Martindale and sister Cheryl Martindale. She is also survived by Larry’s siblings, Donald Hamlin and Evelyn Lee.
