

Throughout her life she traveled the world and everywhere she landed, friends became family. Dollie’s spunky, vibrant, loving and caring personality transformed her relationships into lasting friendships.
Among her many talents was her creativity; from painting to interior design (especially around Christmas – her favorite time of year).
She had an unwavering devotion to her family – a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She raised six beautiful daughters and one of her grandchildren, Christina Harlin.
In 1997 she married the love of her life, Sergeant Major Ralph John Smith. They made Granite Shoals their home and shared many memories there.
In 2004 she was called to serve the Lord and opened a Christian bookstore, The Bread of Life, in Granite Shoals, which allowed her to share her love for the Lord.
Dollie’s pride and joy was her large family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph, her parents Edgar and Abigail Wickstrom her sister Emilie Gail Streicherof and daughter, Marie McMlure and one grandson.
She is survived by her daughters; Evia Ballard (and husband, Brett), Jauhnea Barkley (and husband, Rich), Emelia Phillips-Dziadon, Ruth West, and Rebecca Barnes (and husband, Cedric), Leda Smith; grandchildren, Jacob, Alaina, Christina, Kaley, Dylan, Kamryn, Courtney, Kyandra, Malin, Graci ,Brinlee, and Ren; and three great grand children.
Services are scheduled for February 17, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel, Marble Falls, Texas, with interment February 18, 2016 at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Dollie’s name to Highland Lakes CASA.
Honorary Pallbearers are Brett Ballard, Rich Barkley, Cedric Barnes, Jacob Sivells, Jonathan Harlin, and Dylan Brown.
