

She was born on September 2, 1944, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Raymond and Pat Giefer, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Giefer and his wife, Cheryl, of Arkansas.
Isla was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was centered around her family. She shared 52 years of marriage with her beloved husband, David John Daniels, whom she married on October 17, 1964. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Daniels Tarter and son-in-law Donny Tarter; son Michael Daniels; and daughters Joann Jessup, Judy Daniels, and Katherine Daniels; grandchildren Bailey Tarter, Twyla Tarter, Jordan Alvarado, Michaela Daniels, Landon Jessup, Maddox Jessup, and Beau Riley Allen; as well as nephew Jason Daniels and niece Jessica Janski.
She will be remembered for her love, strength, and the deep care she showed to those closest to her. Her legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward.
A Rosary will be held on April 18 at 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m., at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 201 Dalton Circle, Horseshoe Bay, Texas (in the Family Life Center). A reception will follow, with a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
