

Jean Henderson was born on January 22, 1934 to Frank and Lucille Blackwell in Cement, Oklahoma. Jean had one brother, Frank Blackwell who passed away in 2020. She met Lloyd Henderson in Midland, Texas during their school years. They married on September 25, 1950, sharing in 72 years of beautiful marriage. Jean and Lloyd shared an abundant life of love with their four children and many friends throughout Texas.
Jean’s focus in life was always her family and her love for Jesus. In all things, she showed compassion and grace, never withholding a sweet smile for anyone whom she met. Jean was active in her family and church activities, an avid tennis player and she adored her dogs. For her family, she was the rock and always ready with an open heart to fill one up with love and encouragement.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and in 2004, her youngest son, Don Henderson.
Jean is survived by her husband, daughter Deborah Henderson of Meadowlakes, son David Henderson of Austin, son Mark and Suzi Henderson of Austin, and daughter in-law Patti Henderson of Spicewood.
Jean was blessed with 16 grandchildren. Ty and Lori McGee of Fullerton, California, James Henderson of Houston, Texas, Sam and Stephanie McGee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sam and Chesley Wilmarth of Santa Rosa, California, M’Lea McGee of Maxwell, Texas, Susanna Dollar of Granite Shoals, Cory and Dawn Henderson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Craig Henderson of Pichilemu, Chile, Nick and Greta Henderson of Guerneville, California, Ben and Sarah Henderson of Marble Falls, Darby and Rissa Brown of Lubbock, Texas, Josh Henderson of Austin, Texas, Ian and Amanda Henderson of Phoenix, Arizona, Elyssa Henderson of Austin, Texas, Rachel and Kevin Naumann of Spicewood, Texas, and Sarah Henderson of Phoenix, Arizona. She cherished each of her numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
