

Jerome was born on February 24, 1948 to Annie Laurie Amthor Davis and Billy Harlan Davis in Bryan, Texas.
Jerome graduated from Odessa Permian High School in 1966. He attended Southwestern University and graduated in 1970 with bachelor degrees in Physics and Chemistry. While at Southwestern, Jerome was a four year letterman playing 3rd base for the Southwestern Pirates and he was a dedicated member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. In 1974, Jerome graduated from the University Of Texas College Of Pharmacy. Jerome was a devoted Longhorn fan, and a Life Member of the University of Texas Ex Student’s Association
In 1977 Jerome was instrumental in developing the Marble Falls and surrounding areas Emergency Medical Services program. Jerome was a certified instructor and taught many hundreds of EMS professionals all over the State of Texas. Jerome was a Special Skilled Paramedic, was the Director of Horseshoe Bay EMS, and throughout his services to those in the Texas Hill Country he saved hundreds of lives, and touched many, many more.
Jerome owned and operated several retail pharmacies in the Marble Falls area, and was one of the few pharmacists in the area that were trained as an IV Infusion Pharmacist. He eventually left the retail pharmacy business and pursued his love of Infusion Management, and managed care for many all over Texas with medications for their home IV Management needs. During his life Jerome was honored with being the Citizen of the Year in Marble Falls in 1979 for his countless hours dedicated to the EMS and community.
On July 19, 1996 Jerome married his partner in life, Rosanne Davis after a whirlwind courtship of 16 days. Together they have built a beautiful life full of family and friends, successful businesses, and an everlasting partnership of love and devotion.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved father in law Bill Methvin. Jerome is survived by his wife Rosanne Davis, her daughter Ashley Wood of New York, her daughter Natalie Bier and her husband Mark, and their three beautiful children, Everett, Garrett, and Harper Rose, and her son Gregory Wood and his wife Christine and their son Beau, all of Dallas. Surviving Jerome is his mother in law whom he loved dearly, Patsy Methvin. Jerome is also survived by his daughter Kelly Davis of Horseshoe Bay, and his three grandchildren Brendan, Bailie and Breannon. Additional survivors include Jerome’s sister Jill Wooten and her husband Harris Wooten of Houston, Texas as well as his niece Whitney Hinton and her husband James Hinton, and Leighton and James, their children as well as his nephew Will Wooten also of Houston. Jerome has nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from all over that are celebrating his life and that he loved greatly.
Services for Jerome Kelly Davis will be at the First United Methodist Church San Saba, 204 W. Brown, San Saba, Texas 76877 with Reverend John Saint officiating on September 19, 2015 at 11:30am. A celebration of his life will continue at the Kelly Ranch in San Saba, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Jerome Kelly Davis’ honor are made to a local EMS of your choice, any animal shelter, or the Scott and White Marble Falls Hospice Office Group.
The family also wishes to thank Dr. Jack Franklin and his staff for their loving, tender care. Additionally, there were four caregivers that loved Jerome and helped him and the entire family-Thank you, Lotta, Kendra, Ruth, and Ruby. A special thanks to Dr. George Rivera and his staff at Austin Cancer Center and Scott and White Home Health of Marble Falls and Llano, as well as Scott and White Hospice of Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls. Many family friends also came to help during this time, and we wish to thank each and every one of you.
Jerome fought the good fight, he lived a great life and his memory will forever live in our hearts. As Jerome would say, “That’s my story and I am sticikin’ to it”.
