Judy Kay Osborn

Judy Kay Osborn, 68, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026 at her home in Horseshoe Bay, surrounded by the family and loved ones who meant so much to her. Just two days shy of her 69th birthday, Judy left behind a legacy of compassion, laughter, unwavering love, and a remarkable ability to make every person—and every animal—feel seen, cared for, and important.

Judy was born on September 16, 1957, to Betty Jo and Bill J. Harris. From an early age, she demonstrated the determination and bright spirit that would define her life. She graduated a year early from Pampa High School in 1975, beginning a life filled with devotion to family, hard work, and service to others.

On April 16, 1976, Judy married the love of her life, Stephen Osborn. Together, they built a beautiful life and welcomed two beloved sons, who were among her greatest joys and proudest accomplishments. Judy and Stephen made their first home in Pampa, later moved to Rowlett in 2000, and eventually settled in Horseshoe Bay in 2017. No matter where life took them, Judy made every house a home—one filled with love, comfort, laughter, and room for family, friends, and furry companions.

Judy was kind and caring to everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, a fiercely proud mother, and a deeply compassionate person whose warmth made people feel immediately at ease. She never had an ill word to say about anyone—a rare and beautiful quality that reflected the goodness of her heart.

She held a special passion for early childhood development and believed every child deserved to feel loved, cherished, and encouraged. Whether through a simple conversation, a comforting presence, or her natural ability to nurture, Judy made a lasting difference in the lives of the children who crossed her path.

Judy also had an enduring love for animals. Her compassion for them became part of her professional life through her work as a groomer and veterinary technician. She treated every animal with patience, gentleness, and genuine affection. She was preceded in death by many beloved dogs, grand-dogs, and cats, who were surely waiting anxiously for her arrival—likely with wagging tails, happy barks, purrs, and at least a little expectation of treats.

Judy’s passions were as genuine as she was. She loved all things Texas A&M, sports, and, above all, her family. She brought enthusiasm, loyalty, and heart to everything she cared about. She also had a wonderful sense of humor—often delivered with perfect timing, a knowing look, and the kind of quiet wit that could make a room laugh when it needed it most. Judy could make people smile without ever needing to be the center of attention, and her humor was just one more way she made those around her feel loved.

While Judy’s absence will be felt deeply, her family will carry forward the many gifts she gave them: her kindness, her patience, her compassion, her laughter, and her example of loving others well.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Bill J. and Betty Jo Harris; her brothers, Randy Harris and Rick Harris; and her daughter-in-law, Mandi Osborn.

Judy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Stephen Osborn; her sons, Brandon Osborn and Kevin Osborn; and her daughter-in-law, Ashley Osborn. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jolie, Briella, Nolan, Kody, and Kade. Brandon and grandchildren, Jolie, Briella, and Nolan, reside in Edmond, Oklahoma; Kody resides in Frisco, Texas; and Kade resides in Grand Junction, Colorado. Kevin and Ashley reside in Hockley, Texas.

She is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Cindy Harris of Pampa and Pam Harris of Pampa; her nephew, Taylor Harris, and his wife, Keely, of Pampa; and her nieces, Kim Hogan and her husband, Bob, of Amarillo; Kelley Payne of Borger; and Kameron Britten and her husband, Carey, of Borger. Judy also leaves behind many cherished family members, dear friends, and animals whose lives were made better because she was part of them. She was surrounded by family and those who loved her most, and she will be deeply cherished, missed, and remembered always.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas. Lunch for family and friends will follow at Judy’s home. Judy will be interred on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Horseshoe Bay Mausoleum.
