Lucy Garcia was born March 4, 1932, in Round Mountain, then moved to Marble Falls after she married her husband, then spent 6 years in San Antonio and then returned to Marble Falls in 1976 where she lived out her life.
She is survived by her husband Sylvano Garcia of 69 years and two brothers, Domingo Ribera and Raymond Ribera and one sister Mickey Peterman. She is also survived by her two daughters Alicia Luz Rivera and Sylvana Josie Vaughn. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. A Great granddaughter, Celeste Munoz, was there throughout Lucy’s hospice duration to love and support of her needs. She is preceded in death by her brother Andrew Ribera, by her sister Blasa Garcia, her daughter Guillerma Sosa and her grandchild Crystal Sosa.
You will most likely remember her playing bingo and going to the casinos. She did this until she couldn’t physically do it any longer.
In lieu of a funeral service, she will be cremated and we will save her ashes until Sylano Garcia passes on, then we will have a service for both and be laid to rest together.
We will truly miss this beautiful and loving Angel. Go in Peace.
