   Sincere condolences to family and friends of Martha. Life got busy and now I know why I didn’t hear from her around holidays recent years. I was delighted to know and work with Martha. Such a caring, smart lady with wicked sense of humor at times and never-ending love of God’s precious animals.  Although I didn’t see her but once since her retirement, it was comforting to know her spirit was in the area.

Rick and family,  

I am very sorry to hear that Martha recently passed.  I met Martha at TxDOT and worked with her for many years.  She always had a beautiful smile and cared about everyone she meet.  I pray for God's comfort in this time of sorrow.  

My husband and I both worked with Martha at TxDOT, in different offices.  She was a wonderful and dependable employee.  More importantly, she was the most giving and caring person I believe I've ever met.  I'm a better person for having known her.  Martha will be remembered with love by the many people she touched with her kindness and smile.

It is with sincere sadness that I write my memory for Martha.  I will miss seeing Martha at various  HLSPCA committee meetings for fundraisers and at all events that we hosted.  Always supportive, encouraging and accommodating.
She was an incredibly kind and empathetic woman that always made me and others smile.

Our most treasured gifts are the moments that we create with the people that we care for. They become priceless memories that decorate our lives. 
I am grateful that Martha Norwood graced my life.

I'm so sorry to hear of Martha's passing.  She was a wonderful person and extremely loyal.  She helped me out of more than one problem at work!  She was by the book and good at her job, a true professional and I will always remember her fondly.  Please know you are in my prayers.

Martha, I will miss my sweet friend.  My condolences to Rick and family.

I was so saddened to hear of Martha's passing! I met this sweet lady in person only once... at the Spicewood Community Center on August 1, 2015 at our annual Naumann family reunion. Although not a Naumann, she had been invited by one of our cousins, and was a special guest for the day. Sharing a love of photography, she and I became instant friends. We visited by phone a number of times over the following year. Living 5½ hours away made it impossible for us to get together on a regular basis, so we had been looking forward to her coming to another of our family reunions in the future. Looks like now she and I will be having our own little reunion in Heaven when it's the Lord's time for me to come on Up There. I was blessed to be able to take the photo that is posted on her obituary here. She was a beautiful lady... inside and out! 

My deepest condolences go out to all of Martha's family and friends at this time. May our Lord Jesus Christ reach down and touch each one with the peace and comfort only He can give.
