

Pamelia Evelyn Standly, age 76, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on June 4, 2026. She was born on June 7, 1949, in Brownfield, Texas, to Thomas and Evelyn (Bynum) Smith. Pamelia was a radiant soul, a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the life of every gathering, a woman who knew no stranger and was always kind and loving to all. Her infectious laughter and generous spirit will be missed but never forgotten. Pamelia graduated from King City High School in King City, California, in 1968, and furthered her education in business college where she achieved an Accounting Degree. Her work ethic was unparalleled, holding many challenging jobs over the years, including being a moving packer, a warehouse manager, and a property manager. Her last 10 years at the Texas Housing Foundation were some of her most enjoyable before retiring. She was a hard worker, yet she knew how to enjoy life. Pamelia loved boating and fishing. She was a regular at garage sales and would often be found dancing and singing at local gatherings. Playing games with family and friends was one of her favorite pastimes. Pamelia was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Evelyn Smith; her beloved husband, James Standly; brothers, Tommy and Ricky Smith; and nephew, Brad Reeves. She is survived by her son, Rob Schmalz and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Heather West; siblings, Goldie Meyer and husband, Jon, Rockey Rash, and Debbie Reed and husband, Larry. She was a proud grandmother to Autumn, Travis, Tyler,
and Nicholas, and a doting great-grandmother to Nathan, Sephina, and Cyrus. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on through her family and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. As we mourn her passing, let\'s also celebrate the remarkable life she led and the joy she brought to each of us. Services will be held 2 pm on Friday June 19th at Clement’s Wilcox Funeral Home In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you share a favorite memory of Pamelia or perform an act of kindness in her honor.
