Born in Austin, Texas, on 28 September 1954, Pat was raised in a faithful Christian home, establishing a foundation of faith that she carried proudly throughout her life. While her biological father was a steel welder, her childhood was a whirlwind, moving around 'more times than you could shake a stick at' across the United States and the Caribbean islands.
As an adult, Pat sought out the stability she longed for and found it in Pflugerville, Texas, alongside her devoted husband of 43 years, Kenneth Bradshaw.
Pat was a true trailblazer. In the 1970s and 1980s, she broke barriers as one of the very few female telephone linemen for the local telephone company. Later in life, she channeled her sharp mind and dedication into her community, serving as a passionate civic watchdog for the Granite Shoals City Council.
A woman of vast talents and curiosity, Pat worked as both a typesetter and a printer. She was an accomplished artist who loved creating on canvas, paper, ceramics, and wood. Her mind was a treasure trove of unlimited random facts that predated and rivaled Google. Above all, she had an incredibly kind heart, dedicating much of her time to feeding and ensuring the health and well-being of the local homeless cat population.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a deeply trusted friend.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved "Pop", L.E. Dunn. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Bradshaw, her mother Mary Dunn, her sister Darlene Criswell and brother James Kelley (wife Denise), her daughter Sha Calderon and sons Lucas McBee (wife Elisabeth), Adam Bradshaw and Jacob Bradshaw (wife Deidre), her nieces Tanya Criswell and Jamie Kelley, eight cherished grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, alongside a community of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home on Sunday, June 28th, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Funeral will be held graveside at Walnut Creek Baptist Church for close friends and family on June 29th, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Pat’s honor to support her lifelong love for animals at Hill Country Cats or your local animal shelter.
