It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patty Jean Hart (Turner), 86, of Tuscola, Texas who passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on May 12, 1939 in Brady, Texas to Thomas Odice and Dickie Dagma Turner. On December 18, 1958, she married the love of her life, Edward Leroy Hart, in San Angelo, Texas.
Patty leaves behind her husband of 66 years; a son, Eddie Hart and wife Amy of Clyde; daughter Gay Cochran and husband Russell of Marble Falls, grandchildren Landon Hart, Kailey Hart, Kalynda Palacious (Jesus), Nicole Hamann (Andrew), a sister, Dickie Sue Grier of Maize, Kansas, sister-in-law Anna Purdon of Hillsboro, Oregon, 2 great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Thomas Ross Turner and Dink Turner, and sister Leta Vanell Johnson.
A Ceremony honoring Patty's life will be held on July 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas.
