

Pat graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1969. In 1971 he was drafted into the Army where he spent 1971 and 1972 stationed in Erlangen, Germany. While in Germany, Pat and fellow soldiers started the European Rodeo Association. Pat participated in rodeo most of his life, including riding bareback, bull dogging and Team roping, among many others. Pat was proud of many team roping championships in the Senior Team Roping Association.
Pat married his wife, Lynette in Johnson City, TX in 1978.
Pat, along with his father and brother, founded T & S Trip Hopper Cattle Feeders in 1979. A business which grew in popularity and respect among Ranchers and Cowboys both in the United States and internationally.
After retiring in 2023, Pat enjoyed spending his time welding, hunting, playing the guitar and visiting with dear friends and family. He relished moments on the water, shooting pool, or playing cards with his children and grandchildren.
Pat is preceded in death by his father, Charley Taylor, mother, Elizabeth Taylor and brother Jimmie Dan Taylor.
Pat is survived by his wife Lynette Taylor, son Casey Taylor and his wife Renae Taylor, Daughter Lauren Taylor, son Jake Taylor and his wife Kori Taylor. Grandchildren, Caden, Cullen, Peyton, Cooper, Caden, Ashton, Karli and Case.
Visitation is being held at Clements- Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, TX February 18, 2025 from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, TX February 19, 2025 at 10am with a graveside service to follow at Pecan Creek Cemetery.
