Ray is survived by his wife, Jessica Compean; his daughter, Eryn Beltran; his parents, Ramon Compean-Lerma and Bertha Compean; his sister, Nayelli Wall (Shane); his brother, Andres Compean (Marina); his nieces and nephews; extended family; and countless friends.

To know Ray was to love him. He had an incredible gift for making people laugh and turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. Whether he was making jokes, sharing stories, dancing without a care in the world, or convincing everyone to share a late-night snack, Ray had a way of creating fun wherever he went. His laughter was contagious, his smile was unforgettable, and his heart was big.

Ray loved people. He was the kind of man who showed up. Whether someone needed a helping hand, a laugh after a hard day, or simply someone to listen, Ray was there. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel like they were important. His kindness, generosity, and genuine interest in others left an impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.

While Ray loved everyone, his greatest treasures were his beloved wife, his precious daughter, and his faithful dogs, Lola and Luna. He was a devoted husband and a proud father whose heart was always fullest when he was with the ones he loved. The love he had for his family was evident in everything he did.

A visitation will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls on July 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls on July 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls on July 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with burial at Marble Falls City Cemetery. The family invites everyone to come together to honor the incredible man who made this world brighter simply by being in it.

Although his life was far too short, Ray filled every one of his 37 years with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. He isn’t gone—he’s simply gone ahead. We find comfort in knowing we’ll see him again. Until then, we will hold tight to the wonderful memories he helped create. Ray will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
