Richard Harding Kohl

Richard "Papa" H. Kohl, 62, unexpectedly passed away Monday May, 20th, 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife Jeanette Kohl, children; Matthew (Cassie) Molina, grandchildren, Riley, Xavier, Jaydon and Austin, daughter Jennifer (Jeffrey) Knox, grandchildren, Julianna, Lily and Lucas, son Josh(Jenna) Molina, grandchildren Eric and Julian, Siblings; Cynthia (Joseph), Sharon (Glenn), John Michael Jr.(Elizabeth), Kathleen, Patricia(Tom) as well as several nieces and nephews and his mother Dorothy Kohl.

Richard loved being outdoors. He was a member of the Library Sportsman Association and enjoyed shooting. He loved working in his garden, going on long bike rides, camping, fishing and was an accomplished wilderness explorer/hiker (leading and saving Jeanette many times) but he mostly enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren who gave him so much joy. Rich also spent many years as member of the Knights of Columbus at his local church and served his community well through street outreach, feeding the homeless and other community events. He truly made a big impact on all his family and friends and will be sorely missed.
