Survivors include her sons: David Tyler of Marble Falls and Bruce Tyler & wife Sheryl of St. Simons Island, Georgia , daughter Dianne Tyler Philp & husband Wade West of Marble Falls; grandchildren Kristin Tyler Philp, Tyler Philp, Bruce Yale Tyler, Whitney Morgan Tyler, and Stephen Tyler and one great grandchild on the way.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman Yale Tyler, MD, one son Kim Tyler and her siblings Marilyn, Helen, Frank and Ed.
