Robert Mezger

Robert married Betty Marie Jagow in 1943 and began his military career in WWII as a mechanic and navigator, serving on the Northern African and Southern European front.

After leaving the military, Robert raised Herford cattle for 60 years.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, his parents, granddaughter Laura and brothers John and Jim.

Robert is survived by his daughters Linda Marie Mezger and Cynthia Ann Dixon of Marble Falls, Texas, sons Robert A. Mezger of Colorado, Bryan Kent Mezger and wife Linda of Boulder, Colorado, Doug Mezger and wife Martha of Marble Falls, Texas and Jeffrey Alan Mezger of Marble Falls, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation Thursday, June 2, 2016 6-8 pm at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls, Texas.
