I am so very sorry to hear about Ray's sudden passing. Vera and I were both very sorry to learn about it after the service because we would have made every effort to be in attendance. Ray was very important to me in my career and I felt very fortunate to have had the honor of working on his team at MBank. He taught me that commercial banking is the most challenging but also the most fun and rewarding area of banking and I still believe that today. JoAnn, our hearts go out to you and we will hold you close in our thoughts and prayers.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the time I spent with Ray. Playing softball, pick up basketball, golf, trips to Vegas, and eating good Mexican food in Austin. Ray was a good guy and I will miss him.

My heart hurts for you. I pray that God sends you peace and comfort. Ray was a great boss and mentored so many young bankers but more than that he was a good man. I feel fortunate to have worked with him. My love and prayers to you and the family.

Ray was one of those rare people with whom your life is blessed if paths cross. I always felt a kinship with Ray, that went well beyond our working relationship. I admired him in so many ways and am deeply saddened by your loss. He was a very good man.
Anne and I send our love and prayers for you now and through your tomorrows.
