She traveled and resided in communities across the country including Gilroy, California, Cupertino, California, the Chicago, Illinois area, Gamboa, Panama and Chattanooga, Tennessee before settling in the Hill Country. Horses were her passion, and she was a dedicated life-long horse lover and livestock show person.
Shannan operated a local cleaning and house-sitting service.
Shannan is preceded in death by her mother, Lonna Gail Cone, her sister Kristi Lynn Cone and her niece Laura Marie Kennedy.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Burnette of Horseshoe Bay, her father Dan Cone of Marble Falls and her son, Randy Allen Hicks, Jr. of Carson City, Nevada.
Shannan will be missed and remembered by her family and widespread special friends.
