Our beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Tracy Mills passed from this earth to his heavenly home on Thursday, November 26, 2020 with his loving wife, Lisa and his brother, Barry by his side.
After many years of illness, his soul is now at rest now and we take comfort in knowing that he was welcomed with open arms and big hugs from his precious daughter Laura.
Tracy, aged 58 was born on October 24, 1962 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia to parents, John and Sandra Mills. He grew up in Look Out Mountain, Georgia and graduated from Junction City High School in 1981. While in high school, he was a member in the JR ROTC, loved sports, woodworking and worked in a Bakery on base.
He began a successful career in the construction industry with HEB Grocery in 1985, then moved to facility management and completed his career with HEB after 30+ years. His many friends and co-workers can attest to his dedication and pride of a job well done.
Tracy loved spending time with family for holidays and summer vacations. He always came prepared with homemade goodies, special snacks and always the fresh bag of jerky purchased at the local establishments.
Boating and jet skis were his favorite past time and in fact, he was hoping to buy a pontoon boat this year to be ready for the summer of 2021. He had high hopes of he and Lisa fishing and spending more quality time together.
He was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Laura Cardella, father-in-law, T.E. (Gene) Thompson, and niece, Heather Brandenburg.
Tracy is survived by his parents, John and Sandra Mills, brothers Barry Mills (Vivian), Jeff Mills (Renee), and sister, Angela Carlisle (Bill). Also, his mother-in-love, Dorina Thompson, brother-in-laws, Aaron Thompson (Linda), Curtis Thompson (Brenda), sister-in-law, Ryanna Thompson and son-in-law, Phil Cardella.

Other extended family kids that loved their “funny man” are Ainsley and Emery Ash.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday December 12, 2020 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls, Tx.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation in his honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital online at www.stjude.org, or to any children’s charity of your choice.
God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So he put His arm around him and whispered, come with me.
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us – He Only Takes the BEST!
