He is survived by his wife, Nova (Miller) Holley. His children, Suzanne Dyer (Kim), Daryl Holley (Debbie), Doug Holley (Sue) and Dana Eberhart (Mark). His grandchildren, Neesha Dyer Leon (Scott), Holley Dyer Gray (Garrett), Breeanne Dyer Grimsley (Levi), Evan Holley Bauer (Eric), Ragen Holley Wisnoskie (Daniel), Jordan Holley Harrison (Taylor), Kati Holley Grimsley (Andy), Garet Holley, Sara Holley Tyler (Justin), Kaitlin Eberhart Wilson (Christopher), Laura Eberhart Culpepper (Morgan) and Scott Eberhart (Hillary). He also lived long enough to know his 27 great-grandchildren. Dub is also survived by his brother, Randy Holley and his wife, Barbara.
A lifetime Texas resident, he grew up in Olton where he met and married Nova almost 70 years ago. He was a very accomplished business owner. When they retired to their home on Inks Lake, he and Nova created many memories over the years with family and friends. He and Nova have been active at First Baptist Church Marble Falls for the last 30 years. You could often find him at his kitchen table early mornings with a cup of coffee, studying his Bible, preparing for each week's lesson. He loved to sing. He was in the church choir, often singing solos and quartets. He often led music at churches they attended and also for revivals.
Dub and Nova loved to travel. They went on trips all over the United States. One of their favorite places was Ruidoso NM. He was very active at his gym, faithfully going there every weekday, making many friends that treated him like family. He was also very creative. He loved to work with wood and metal. We will treasure these labors of love that were made by his hands.
Dub will be missed by all that knew him. He was a wonderful husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother and friend. We all loved him very much and were blessed having had him in our lives.
