

After graduating from high school in Muleshoe, Texas, Bill attended West Texas College at Canyon. . He served his country in the United States Army doing Special Service duty in Turkey from 1962-1964.
After serving in the military, Bill was a farmer at Muleshoe, Texas until his retirement in 1999. At that time he moved to Meadowlakes, Texas to be closer to family.
Bill had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, wood working, playing games, traveling, and he enjoyed any and all sports.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, William Boyd and Pearl Evelyn (Gardner) Killingsworth of Muleshoe, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Jolene Haney Killingsworth, his three children, Melissa Carol Anderson, Kathy Ann Hodges, and John Allen Killingsworth, seven granddaughters and one great granddaughter. Bill is also survived by his sister, Wilma Dean Killingsworth Polson, two step-sons, Randy Haney and Robert Haney, one step- grandson Randy Hodges, Jr. and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Clements-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Ralph Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mike Polson, Brian Polson, Randy Hodges, Randy Hodges, Jr., Robert Haney and Randy Haney.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home of Marble Falls, Texas.
