Wilma Jane Carlton

Jane was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on Oct. 5, 1941 to Harold J and Arnott S Crase.

Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother much beloved by her family. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Glen Carlton of Meadowlakes, Texas, her sons Louis Carlton of Portland, Oregon and Thomas Carlton of Killeen, Texas, her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchild and many other family members.

Jane stayed active her entire life with many notable accomplishments. She was a graduate of Texas Woman’s University and established Re/Max Realty in Denton, Texas as an owner/broker. In her retirement years Jane and Glen split their time between homes in Ruidoso, New Mexico and Meadowlakes, Texas. In her leisure time Jane also enjoyed traveling, bowling, and playing bridge with her many friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to celebrate her life at an informal gathering at the Denton Woman’s Club, located at 610 Oakland in Denton, Texas on February 4, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
