Born on October 1, 1936, in Newark, New Jersey, Adeline, affectionately known as Adele, later made her home on Marco Island, Florida. She married her high school sweetheart, Frank Joseph Ballman, and over their 66 years together, they built a beautiful life centered on family and love.
Adele lived a full and vibrant life devoted to her family and those she loved. Her warmth, kindness, and faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ, touched the lives of all who knew her.
Adele is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Joseph Ballman; loving children; daughter, Patricia (Pete) Fitton; son, Gerald (Lina) Ballman; and her sister, Bernadette Kruszon. She was a cherished grandmother to her 5 grandchildren: Katie (Steven) McDougal, Ryan Fitton, Jack Fitton, Drew Fitton, and Lucas Ballman, and a proud great-grandmother to Ella Kate McDougal. Her family was her greatest joy, and her legacy of love will continue through them.
Though Alzheimer’s took much from her in her final years, it could never diminish the beautiful life she lived or the profound impact she had on her family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with admiration and love. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10:30 am at San Marco Catholic Church.
