Born on February 9, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, Connie built a life rooted in love and devotion to her family. On August 5, 1966, she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Jack Hawkins. Together, they made their home in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, where they raised their two daughters, Tami and Kristi.
Connie was deeply committed to supporting children and families in her community. She developed and served as the long-time director of the after-school program in Excelsior Springs, dedicating her career to guiding and caring for local youth until her retirement.
Following their retirement, Connie and Jack relocated to Naples, Florida, where their close-knit bond drew the rest of the family close—both daughters and most of her grandchildren soon followed them to the Sunshine State. Connie loved spending time outdoors, embracing the warm Florida sun, and relaxing at the beach surrounded by the family she cherished most.
Connie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Hawkins; her daughters, Tami (Greg) Davisson and Kristi (Brian) Babb; and her grandchildren, Hailey Sullivan (Brendan), Sophia Davisson, Lucy Davisson, Hunter Davisson, Max Babb, Hayes Babb, Zoe Babb, and bonus grandchild Ava Rae.
