Born on June 23, 1950 to the late Darrel and Marlyn (Rennells) in Ripon, Wisconsin. Cyndi graduated from Wausau High School in 1968. She married Jack Keck in 1971 and they later divorced. On July 8, 1990 she married the love of her life, Jim Krueger. They spent 35 years together dividing their time between Schofield, Wisconsin and Marco Island, Florida.
Cyndi was instrumental in bringing the silk flower business into Krueger Wholesale Floral. Her flair for decorating, love of antiques and more recently, painting, captured her creative side. Golf was a big part of her life in her younger years. Hosting and experimenting with new recipes showcased her many talents. She became famous for her delicious applesauce which was given to family and friends. One of Cyndi's favorite things to do was shopping with her many friends searching for a "great bargain". She will be remembered for her pretty smile and kind heart.
Cyndi is survived by her husband, Jim, step children: Kevin (Denise), Karri and Kraig Krueger, brothers: Rick (Joyce), Jerry (Sandy), and Mark (Patty), and many nephews, a niece and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrel and Marlyn Peterson and her sister, Janet Engstrom.
In lieu of a public service, Cyndi’s immediate family is holding an intimate gathering at one of her favorite places, The Palms Supper Club in Schofield, Wisconsin, where we will share fond memories, appetizers and cocktails. We appreciate your love and support at this time.
