Dorothy was born in Philadelphia on Oct. 3, 1930. She married her first husband Philip Josberger, Jr. and moved to Miami in 1954. They raised six children there and moved to Marco Island in 1975. After Phil’s death in 1996 she moved to Naples and married her second husband, Scott Bennett, Jr. in 2000.
She is survived by her sister, Jane (John) Hunt of Naples, her six children: Kathy (David) Martin of Miami, Carol (Tim) Ducey of St. Louis, MO, Philip (Victoria) Josberger of Marco Island, Susan Yount of Orlando, John (Shannon) Josberger of Palm Desert, CA, Jim (Becky) Josberger of Vancouver, WA, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at San Marco Catholic Church on Marco Island on Thursday, March 17th starting at 9:30 AM. The Mass will follow at 10:30 AM and then burial at Marco Island Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Catholic Charities.
