George Pattison Baker, III, of Marco Island, FL passed away on September 5th, 2023 at age 71, at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL, after a sudden illness. He was born on February 22, 1952, in New Castle, PA. He was the son of the late George and Vivian Baker. He is the beloved husband of Diane (Bloise) Baker who survives him. They were first loves who were fortunate enough to rediscover each other and marry in 2006.
George graduated from Neshannock High School in New Castle, PA and continued his education by attending Tulane and Kent State University, earning a BS in Engineering. He later opened several pubs in the Akron, OH area. He retired to Marco Island where he worked in the IT field. George enjoyed golf, music, boating, fishing and the Pittsburgh Steelers. George was also a musician and played guitar in various bands in his younger days, still playing today, mostly just for his wife.
