Georgia, you will be ever so missed.  You have shown great courage, strength in the face of great grief, and fortitude, where others would have been overcome.  Your ability to laugh, and those one liners that used to get us in trouble at choir will be long remembered, and those memories along with bridge club treasures enjoyed over and over.  'Til we meet again, save a place for us in His choir!  With love.

Our mom passed in 1982 and Gigi was the only grandma on my side that our kids ever knew. We have a lot of very fond memories of our times together. One of the most memorable was the way that Geo liked to eat her cake (in a glass mixed with milk). Another (that dad shared) was when they were watching an old movie with Henry Fonda and Geo said "well he must have made this before he died."

Another story dad told us was when Geo and he were driving home from some event, and Geo pulled off the tie he was wearing and threw it out the window because she didn't like it.

Our time here is really just a fleeting moment and temporary in God's master plan. We all love you Gramma Gigi and will see you in a place where there is no sickness, pain, or sorrow. Until then, save us some cake.

This is as close as I can be to saying goodbye to my dear aunt Georgia. God grant you peace for your good works on earth and watch over us til we meet again. Love Allen, Fran and family.

Georgia, you were truly the most amazing women that I have ever known. I have never met anyone who was braver or stronger than you were. Your confidence was inspiring, and your personality was completely beautiful. You were beautiful on the inside and out, and I know that you are watching over all of us from Heaven. It won't be long before we meet again, and on that blessed day we will celebrate with God and all of the angels in Heaven. But for now I will wait; and every time I see a sunset over the ocean I will see you in its full radiance. I will feel you when the cool breeze softly blows on me during the spring time. I will think of you whenever I eat a vanilla bean ice cream cone, and I will see you in the image of The Madonna holding her little baby boy in her arms. This isn't really goodbye, we will be together again soon enough. I love you with all of my heart!

Sad, so sad here again.  Though years did separate us and distance, I have some of my best memories of Georgia in Naperville, along with her sibs, Marilyn, Wayne, Carol, and "Junior".  This past year I would check in with Marilyn to see how Georgia was doing and sent a note, which I hope she had time to read before being hospitalized.

She will be missed.

She was my Mom longer than my birth mom. She was the only Grandma and great Grandma my children knew. She was funny, quirky and always positive about everything. My Dad loved her unconditionally. He was truly happy with Georgia. We loved her and have lots of great memories!

Have enjoyed having you as my little sister for all these years, we love you and will miss you.

Our baby sister, Georgia, was a truly wonderful woman.  She loved everyone and tried her best to make this world a better place. Her family was extremely important ton her and we thank them for making her life a truly enjoyable one.

We are so saddened to learn about Georgia's passing.  She was a lovely woman who enjoyed life and people. Ron and I enjoyed knowing Georgia when we lived at Stevens Landing. She was a blessing to so many.

Georgia was my "Mom" longer than my birth mom. The only grandma and great-grandma my children have known. She was fun loving, caring, giving and very wise. She had many, many trials through her life but went through them bravely and forthright. My kids remember her as "silly cheating at Pictionary", quirky jokes and being very living. She provided me with strength when I needed it through loss of my arm and other trials. My Dad truly, truly loved her with all his heart..She was a bright star for him and many! Our lives are enriched for having Georgia (Grandma Gigi) in it! She will be greatly missed. Love you Georgia!
