Born in Paterson, New Jersey, she married her high school sweetheart, William J. Meyer in 1957. They eventually moved to West Milford, NJ where they raised their three children, Billy, Grace and Jerri.
Grace and Bill relocated to Jefferson, NJ and eventually spent 15 years residing in Randolph, NJ before moving permanently to their home in Marco Island, Florida.
Grace began her successful career in real estate in West Milford and was very active with the real estate board until she retired in 1992.
Gram, as she was known to many, spent those years in Randolph helping to care for her grandson Dominick, volunteering at his grammar school and doing all the things a Gram does for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, William, children, William J. and his wife, Shelly, Grace M. Kelly and her husband, Tom and Jerri A. Meyer and grandchildren Dominick A. Esposito, Amanda Clovis, Melissa Hummell and William J. Meyer, Jr., as well as great grandchildren Edward Hummell and Amelia Hummell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 11, 2025, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Hodges-Joseberger Funeral Home, 577 E Elkcam Circle, Marco Island, Florida.
