Jim, Shane, Trevor,
Janet was a dear friend and will always be close to my heart. She was kind, generous and such a true and loyal friend. We all loved her so much and she suffered too long. Brian and I have you in our prayers and we are thinking of you all.

Too my dear sister Janet, I was always her older Brother. The last time Janet remembered me was at Brother Pat’s Birthday Party. We were sitting on the pool porch and Janet was being quizzed for memory, she was asked to identify the different people sitting there, Practically all got a blank stare......until OP, that she remembered.
I remember that Dear Janet was VERY single minded. We were on a family vacation , Janet was about 10, to Daytona Beach and St Augustine All 8 of us in a 2 door Ford Victoria, We were going to see Marine Land and Dad decided to have Breakfast first. All 8 of us went in to the restaurant and ordered, eggs, pancakes, french toast etc. But Janet decided she wanted a Tuna Sandwich for Breakfast. The waitress said, we don’t have tuna at breakfast, Janet put her foot down, it was going to be Tuna sandwich, After a few minutes and help from Dad, the restaurant gave in, Janet had a Tuna Sandwich.
All her life Janet was certain of her path, That is how she completed College, when the counselors said she wouldn’t, waited until the RIGHT man, Jim, came into her life for a long and happy marriage, raised 2 wonderful children Shane and Trevor and saw and loved her first Grand babies.
I will sure miss my Younger Sister. RIP Janet Jean Herndon-English: From Brother OP and Cindy.

Janet was always a beautiful person, always! I mostly remember when i was a child (her niece) and we would visit- her home was amazing to me ( I lived in FL), and her home had a magic basement! She would check on us (my sibling and her kids- my cousins) while we played our games of Charlies Angels or Teacher.
I have nothing but love for Janet, and her family! Jimmy, the fun uncle; Shane, now a beautiful woman married with kids, and Trevor an awesome kiddo ( same age-sh as my little bro).
Janet, I'm sorry your time was so short (so many people love you), but I trust God's will, and I believe you are enjoying a couple rounds of tennis right now, just for fun. You are awesome!
