Joan was a good friend and neighbor .. many fond memories of growing up to our teen years on Lake & Railroad Avenues in Tuckahoe, NY.
We spent many hours together being with her siblings and "hanging out" together both in and out of school.
Joan will be sorely missed.
Sincere sympathy!

I was so shocked to hear of Joan's passing. Knowing her at the Crown development for many years was such a positive experience for me. I don't think a day went by that Joan wasn't out walking engaging with most neighbors. John and I send our prayers and condolences to Don and family.

A sad day for our family hearing the news of Joan's passing- made particularly acute since we had just been speaking with her 10 days before. Joan has watched our family grow from the time my wife was pregnant until now with all our kids in their early to late 20's. Her ready smile, good humor and kind words will be sorely missed by all. Our heartfelt prayers to Donald and the family.
