

Kyriacos Lambros died on September 29th six days after his 82nd birthday. He passed away peacefully at home with his family in attendance. He emigrated from his native island of Cyprus at the age of 18.
He became a contractor, building housing developments and strip malls in Rockland County, New York when this area was experiencing great growth. Retiring to Marco Island in 2002, he pursued his passion for gardening, providing fruits and vegetables to all his friends. He was a Renaissance man; his curiosity was boundless. He loved flying his plane, cooking his Greek specialties for his grandkids and singing in the church choir. He believed deeply in God, in honesty, integrity and excellence. His wry sense of humor touched many. He is survived by his adoring wife, Sophia, two loving sons, Dimitrios (Tammie), Peter, and several grandchildren.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home, Marco Island. Funeral Service will be held at St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 7100 Airport-Pulling Road, Naples at 11am Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Burial will be at Marco Island Cemetery, Marco Island.
