Margaret Marion Duvall

Margaret “Peggy” Marion Duvall, 92, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 29th. Peggy was surrounded by her children, whom she loved deeply. Born on December 27th, 1932, in Grafton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Wilma Parkhill and Harry Parker.

In 1952, Peggy met the love of her life, William Duvall, while working at the Taylor County Court Office. Their meeting began a beautiful partnership that grew into 72 years of marriage. Together, they built a family rooted in love, laughter, and togetherness.

Peggy and Bill went on to have six children: William (Ruth), Danny (Tina), Terry (Linda), Joyce (Mark), Mark (Stacey), and David (Lynne). She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Peggy’s heart was full when surrounded by her family, each of them brought her immense joy. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone around her feel valued, welcomed, and loved. A devoted wife and nurturing mother, she was truly the heart of her family.

Peggy loved fishing, and she and Bill traveled together to many beautiful locations. Her favorite destination was Alaska, where she proudly (and frequently) caught the most fish. She was also an avid crafter and took great pride in creating handmade projects that are now treasured keepsakes in the homes of those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, her siblings Ronald Haislip and Mary Alice Hardman; and her grandson, James Kelly.

A private family service will be held at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home, 577 E. Elkcam Circle, Marco Island, FL 34145, on Friday, December 12th. Peggy will be remembered for her generous heart and the kindness she shared with everyone. While her loss is deeply felt, her memory will live on in the lives of all who loved her. We were blessed to know her.
