Michael Andrew Muck

Mike Muck, age 65, passed away on November 8th, 2025. Mike and his wife, Rose, lived on Marco Island, FL. Mike was a long time Pittsburgh native and was the firstborn child of Patricia and Philip (deceased) Muck. Mike is survived by his wife, Rosemary, and daughter, Rebecca A.; his mother, Patricia Muck; brother, Stephen M. Muck (Wen); and sister, Christine A. Rotella (Mark). He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew R. Muck.

Mr. Muck was the owner and president of Triple C Sod Company of Southwest Florida until his retirement and sale of the business in 2020. Prior to relocating to Florida, Mike helped his father, Philip, run and grow Monroe Inc. for over 30 years, expanding the company from a small steel fabrication business into a fully integrated speciality steel fabricator serving the steel, energy, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries during his years of service.

Mike attended Ohio University where he was a member of the wrestling team. Mike continued to support OU’s wrestling program throughout his life and attended matches as his schedule allowed. Mike served as a Trustee of the Philip and Patricia Muck Charitable Foundation where he demonstrated a diverse interest in religious, charitable, capitalistic and athletic causes.

Mike’s love of sports started young as a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates whom he began following while playing little league ball in the 70’s. He loved the Steelers and attended games throughout his life. Mike was also an avid sportsman whom spent much of his free time fishing in freshwater, saltwater, or with a spear while diving.

In retirement Mike and his wife Rose enjoyed spending much of their time traveling and exploring the world. A hallmark of Mike’s retirement were extended trips to Canada where he was able to escape society and cellphone signals.
