Patricia J Wetmore

Pat was born in North Bessemer, Pennsylvania to Ray and Helen Chadwick on January 15, 1938. She went to high school at Edgewood High School and graduated in 1956. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Education from Kent State University and a Master’s in Education from Ball State University. She lived in Anderson, Indiana for 50+ years and taught at St Mary’s Catholic School. She was a member of Delta Zeta sorority Gamma Kappa Chapter at Kent State and Tri Kappa Anderson Chapter. She was a second generation snow bird traveling to Marco Island for over 20 years becoming a permanent resident in 2012. She enjoyed playing cards, dominos, fishing and especially traveling around the world with her family.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Helen; a sister Donna Matwijko and twin brothers Dan and Don Chadwick.

Pat is survived by her husband of 55 years, P Martin Wetmore of Marco Island; daughters Maureen (Brian) Craig and Kathleen (Jon) Glass; grandchildren Bradley Craig, Andrew Craig, Sydney Glass and Ian Glass; and great-granddaughter Ava Craig.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Manor Care Rehabilitation Center and special caregivers Norma and Julie for their support in her final days.

Visitation will be held at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home in Marco Island on April 24, 2016 at 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

Funeral mass will be held at San Marco Catholic Church on April 25, 2016 at 11:00 am with Reverend Duong Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow at Marco Island Cemetery. Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home are handling the funeral arrangements.
