Dear Barb, Bryan, Kevin and Family,
It has been two months, and we still cannot accept the fact that your dear husband and father, Richard, is gone. He was a forever friend, one whom we knew and loved as a brother for more than 40 years. Your family continues to be in our thoughts and prayers, and as you work your way through the grief process, please know that we are here for you. This picture is one of our earliest memories of the young man that we met on Star Path so long ago, and who was so important in our lives from the moment we met him! May Richard now rest in peace, and may you all find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of him. Love, Chris and Steve

We are new to Florida but having met you both was such a joy. Losing a loved one and partner of so many years is beyond words. Please accept our deepest condolences and know that you are in our prayers. Richard gave Ed a gift of encouragement and sober advice when needed. A few words spoken at a party which made a difference.

To you, Barbara, and all of your extended family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Richard was a warm, loving man and we so enjoyed being with him. His words were always kind and his interest was always genuine when he engaged with all of his friends. He was a wonderful host. We will think of him with his sparkling eyes, zipping along on his bicycle, splashing in the pool, and working out with a vengeance!
Though your time with him was far too short, he loved you to the ends of the earth and back.
We are holding you in our hearts and sending you prayers of support, comfort and peace.
With all our love,
Chris and Skip

Jeff and I moved to Naples last June and had the fortunate luck to move next door to Barbara and Richard. We found Richard to be warm and welcoming and always with smile on his face. We will miss seeing him wandering down to the pond to try to catch a fish, helping Barb plant her gardens, and drinking after dinner cocktails with us and realizing he had a beautiful singing voice!! We will treasure these memories.
