I met this amazing man in 1985 when I started working for MHI. Little did I know at the time that he would become my father-in-law in 1989. It’s one thing to marry into a family, but to be accepted with open arms and truly loved by that entire family is a blessing! Being able to call him Dad for over 30 years was an honor. There are so many wonderful memories, from Duck, NC bon fires, to boat rides on The Lady Barbara, Yankee Swaps, laughter with the grandchildren and quiet talks about his amazing life where I always heard new stories and accomplishments from his past. There is no doubt that I will think of dad every day for the rest of my life because I was the lucky girl that got to marry his son, Mike; therefore I will have mom, Deane and Robin by my side always and FORRever! Thank you, Dad, for the love and respect you gave me over the years. You will be missed beyond words!

I got to know Bob in 1993 when I became one of his employes at MHI. Bob was a great boss, a good friend and a great person, he always looked at the people that worked for him as family. He will be truly missed. RIP BOB.

I met Bob in the 80’s and worked for Him at MHI as President there till the early 1990’s. He was indeed a gentlemen of high character and a recognized professional. He was also a very caring person. He was of tremendous support for me in 1988 when I went thru the loss of my first wife in her battle with cancer. “ May God bless and receive him.” May the family be blessed in this time of sorrow.
