I worked as an O R nurse for many years with Dr. Arroyo. Her patients always came first. I've thought about her over the years---sounds like she had a good life after retirement--I'm happy to hear that.

To Dr. Sylvia Arroyos family: She was a wonderful lady. I first met her at Christmas Lake Village when she lived there with her uncle & her cousin. He came over to the welcome center (we hosted the customers that were looking at the land and were gonna build around the lake homes) Her uncle came over much. He was like 70 and he was bored while his nieces (Sylvia) and other niece worked. She told me she was an anthesiologist. That was 1972. Only two homes or so around the lake at that time. Later in years when I had surgery at St. Marys..I met her again..she put me out in one of my operations I recognized her name and we talked some before she put me out. Such a small world sometimes. She was a sweet kind lady and I will be praying for her family at this difficult time. Id love your address so I can send you a card. Love & Prayers, Becky (DuPont) Davis Tell City IN

I remember her from when I had surgery. She was a sweet and kind woman. She had such a good bedside manner and calmed me down, because I was scared to death.

We are very saddened. We are going to miss the good times we shared with Sylvia at our Cozumel parties. She was so much fun.
