Very sad to learn of the passing of Tom. He was a terrific mentor and one who taught me much. I’ve been honored to have been influenced in my career by several pillars of the fundraising community. Tom held a spot at the top of this pinnacle.

I feel such a heavy heart in hearing this news today. Chad and I always looked up to Tom and felt extremely fortunate to have him as a mentor and friend. The best advice he gave me was “you learn the most on the hardest campaigns where nothing goes right.” I’ve repeated the same to our son Jack. Wish we had a picture to share.
