William James Gamble

William J., Bill, Uncle Bill Gamble 79 of Marco Island passed away peacefully on August 21st, 2015. Born on June 15th, 1936 in Lansing Michigan Bill was a graduate of Kelly High School in Chicago, IL. He attended Albion College in Michigan for two years and graduated from Northern Illinois with A Bachelor of Science Degree. Bill married his high school sweetheart Virgina A. Carr on November 22nd, 1958. In 1958 he moved to Bridgeview, IL. He started his career in the Steel business, and became a general contractor. He retired in 1989 and bought a house in Marco Island, FL., and became a Florida resident. Bill was preceded in death by Virginia (Ginger) on January 2nd, 2015. He is survived by his son Michael J. Gamble, married to the late Deborah A. Gamble, daughter Leslie A. Millard, married to Stephen Millard and Daughter Leann E. Welch, married to John Welch. Grandchildren: Kelsey Gamble, Audrey Gamble, William Millard, Carlie Millard, John R. Welch, and Kelly Welch. Bill had a passion for making wine, cooking, duck hunting, and fishing but most of all friends and family.
