Mr. Heyser, a mechanical engineer, was granted a U.S. patent in 1990. He is a proud
graduate of Northwestern University. William served as a medic in the U.S. Army and
volunteered for many years at The Chicago Botanic Gardens, Rookery Bay Naples, FL
and The Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens.
William is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years JoAnn (Franklin).
Survivors include Bill; his son, Bill (Rosanne) of Trinity, Fla.; his daughters, Jennifer J.
Heyser of Vernon Hills, IL; and Stacey H. (David) Askelson of Riverwoods, IL;
granddaughters, Amy L. Funk of Arlington Heights, IL;, Ashley R. Heyser and Lindsay
J. Heyser, both of Trinity, FL; his grandson, Andrew D. Funk of Vernon Hills, IL.
Services were held Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 10:00am. At Hodges-Josberger Funeral
Home 577 Elkcam Circle Marco Island, FL and burial followed.
