Funny, fun and full of spirit, Adel was born in Tehran, Iran to Mohammad and Sara Shahlaie. Adel later moved to the US with his family and lived in Acworth GA.
Adel was an accomplished network engineer and a computer whiz. His best energy was put into his love for the outdoors and animals through trail hiking, mountain biking, swimming and snorkeling. He was an avid traveler who loved adventure and discovery, and had an amateur hobby of documenting his journeys in loads of photographs.
Preceded in death by his father Mohammad Shahlaie, he is survived by mother, Sara Shahlaie, Marietta GA; brother Alex Shahlaie, Norcross GA; and brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Candie Shahlaie, Decatur GA.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 2:00pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park with interment to follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
