Magathe’s soul impacted others’ lives in unspeakable ways. The generosity, consideration, and love she had for others did not go unnoticed. These traits came to life when she was with her family and friends, and her laughter and love were infectious. It’s undeniable that she is still here today; she presents herself as love, humor, and care through her children and grandchildren, as this influence she had on them was powerful. She also lives on in the hearts of others whose lives she has touched. I am entirely grateful and lucky to have met the Jones and have had the opportunity to call them family. Being a nanny coming into a family I’ve never met, Magathe never ceased to make me feel even more welcome than I already did. For example, she would notice when I would eye down her cooking and always leave me a plate of food without question. Her warmth and thoughtfulness were never lost in translation. May her family and friends never forget they have gained a guardian angel.

This breaks my heart to read, but I know she's in a better place. Back when I used to live in Atlanta and spent a lot of time with Daphne and her family Agathe was always a part of that celebration. And not even necessarily because anything was being celebrated, the family was just always having a great time whenever everyone got together! Her warmth, heart, genuine happiness and love for her family could be seen from miles away. Her bright smile and warm hugs will be missed by all but she will never be forgotten as she lives on in all of our hearts and memories. <3, Catherine

As we live and breath in this world we often look for miracles and hope that we will come across one during our lifetime. . The Pierre family witnessed their miracle everyday by having such a kind and loving person in their life. Magathe was an angel before she even departed this world. I was so fortunate to have spent time with Magathe and even though we could not have a conversation due to language differences we understood each other. She was my sweet friend and I truly loved her. I will carry her in my heart everyday.
