

Born and raised by her parents, Dollie and Jeff Bayless in Atlanta.
Allene attended Ragsdale Elementary, Girls High 1945 and graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in 1948. She practiced nursing on and off for years. Allene was always the go to nurse in the neighborhood for any emergencies.
Allene met her husband, Leo Corley in the 4th grade and was reintroduced at Oakland City swimming pool. They married in 1949. Together, they raised three children, Donna, Julia and Hal. Allene was a devoted mother, from PTA, Girl Scouts, Little League, Sunday School, and sewing prom dresses.
Leo started and managed a cattle farm in Williamson, Ga where they resided and spent many happy years.
In later life, Leo and Allene enjoyed their home at Lake Burton.
She was a smart, strong southern lady who still played scrabble at 97 and beat her children in the game!
Allene is survived by her three children, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
There will be a family graveside service at Arlington Memorial Park where she will be put to rest next to her husband Leo.
